HOTEL RECEPTIONIST

We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our friendly team, we are looking to fill one role working a 32 hour contract over 4 days.

The role involves working weekends and all public holidays therefore we require all candidates to be fully flexible in terms of days/times they are available to work.

Duties will involve all aspects of the Front Desk Operations including:

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A HOTEL RECEPTIONIST
EXPERIENCE WITH AT LEAST ONE FRONT OF HOUSE PMS SYSTEM – RESLYNX PREFERRED
GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF MICROSOFT EXCEL/OUTLOOK/WORD
SMART, PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE
CALM UNDER PRESSURE
TO WORK WELL INDEPENDENTLY OR AS PART OF A TEAM

BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION

PROVIDE A WARM, VIBRANT WELCOME TO ALL GUESTS ON THEIR ARRIVAL
ASSIST ALL GUESTS IN A SINCERE AND COURTEOUS MANNER, WHEREVER POSSIBLE GOING THE EXTRA MILE To ENSURE GUEST SATISFACTION
PERFORMS ALL GUESTS ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS TO COMPANY AND HOTEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, ENSURING ALL GUEST ACCOUNTS ARE COMPLETE AND ACCURATE
TO MAXIMISE REVENUE WHERE POSSIBLE BY MEANS OF UPSELL/PROMOTING HOTEL PRODUCTS/SERVICES
TO DEMONSTRATE A GOOD LEVEL OF PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE FOR GUESTS WHEN REQUESTED
DEAL EFFICIENTLY WITH RESERVATION REQUESTS, CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS
TO ACCOUNT FOR ALL MONIES TAKEN AND CASH FLOAT RECONCILIATION

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK with good levels of written and spoken English.

Job Type: Full-time | Salary: £10.70 per hour
