We aim to provide an exceptional level of care and quality and want to ensure that each and every one of our guests has a personable and memorable experience whilst staying with us. GUEST SAFETY, COMFORT AND WELL-BEING
To ensure that all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable stay with us we ask that all guests follow our house rules:
- That all guests vacate their room by 11am on the day of departure. A late check-out is available for a fee (subject to availability). Please contact our reception team regarding this.
- Please consider other guests in respect of noise levels. Many of our guests are families who have small children.
- As a fire precaution, we do not allow the use of candles or other open flames within the hotel rooms. We ask for all guests under no circumstances to drape flammable objects such as towels or clothing over light fittings or heaters.
- Smoking is not permitted within Blackwell Grange Hotel. The premises operates a strict no-smoking policy which applies to the public areas and ground floor facilities as well as the bedrooms. There are designated smoking areas situated at the front and rear of the hotel. If you are found to be smoking or have smoked in a non-designated area you will be liable to pay a mandatory £100 environmental cleaning charge. Please note that smoking in non-smoking areas is illigal in England and offenders may be prosecuted.

At the Blackwell Grange Hotel, we offer free unlimited WiFi in all bedrooms.
To access the WiFi, head to your connection settings and select 'Blackwell Grange Wi-Fi'. You will be automatically taken to a log-in page. If this is the first time you have stayed with us you will need to enter your full email address to connect. This is a one time procedure and you will not need to do this again.
Dining at the hotel is available in Havelock's Restaurant where you will find a vast range of dishes. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend reserving a table by dialling '2700' on your bedroom phone or directly by calling 01325 509955. We request smart casual attire. Strictly no sleep/nightwear. swimwear or sports training wear. Open Monday to Saturday 12pm-9pm and Sundays and bank holidays 12:30pm-8:30pm. Havelocks Menu
The Blackwell Bar, Elk Room and Miss Allan Bar is located on the ground floor just past Reception. Here you will find a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy refreshments and pre-dinner drinks. There is also a light bar menu on offer.
Room service is available from midday until 10pm. We also provide a 24 hour menu which is available any time throughout your stay. To place an order dial '2700' on the bedroom telephone. Please note there is a £5 service charge for items to be brought to the room. Room Service Menu
If the fire alarm sounds, you will hear a continuous ringing/siren. You must evacuate the building immediately closing your bedroom door and any other doors as you go. Do NOT stop to collect personal belongings. Pleaae make your way using the emergency routes and exits to the designated assembly point located at the car park next to Havelock's Restaurant. Hotel lifts must NOT be used in the event of a fire.
We urgently request that you familiarise yourself with the location of the mergency exits, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers including the Fire Emergency Plan loacted at the entrance to your bedroom. If you witness smoke in either your bedroom or hotel corridor, leave immediately activating a break glass point along the way.
The fire alarm system is tested every Friday at 11am. You will hear 3 or 4 short bursts of the alarm. During this period you are not required to vacate the building. If the alarm continues, please evacuate the hotel and report to the fire assembly point closing any doors behind you.
